Texas has 432 recorded species of butterflies, due to various ecological regions and weather. We grow hundreds of nectar flowers and host plants specifically for our visiting butterflies. They are great pollinators, responsible for 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat. We cannot survive without them. Texas is situated between breeding grounds in the north and overwintering areas in Mexico. It's not unusual to see hundreds migrating during the spring and fall.

There are almost 20000 species of known butterflies. They are unique because they use their feet to taste nectar and have 4 transparent wings with beautiful variations of color and patterns. It's unfortunate they can't see how beautiful they are and how much pleasure they give us.

So many people are like butterflies. They don't recognize their own beauty and how much they contribute to society. Like butterflies, we continue to grow and transform during our lives.

The Native Texan Butterfly Collection of essences are derived from flowers that contribute nectar and host plants for the butterflies who most frequent our gardens. We have specific gardens only for the butterflies to taste our flowers and use as host plants. The essences we prepare are combinations of flowers each type of butterfly attracts. The essences are light and aromatic, like a fresh bouquet the butterflies visit.

Our intention is also to raise awareness of butterfly needs, encourage others to grow flowers and host plants for butterflies in their area, and transform our lives into the most beautiful people we can be.

Our products are organic, cruelty free and harvested from abundant flowers we grow on our land. We companion plant. We do not harvest in the wild. We do not use pesticides or commercial fertilizers.
