The World Health Organization, through it's International Agency for Cancer Research, has recently concluded Roundup is "probably carcinogenic to humans". Roundup is a widely used herbicide manufactured by Monsanto. Of course, Monsanto is disputing the March 20 ,2015 assessment published in the Lancet Oncol. 2015 issue. The World Health Organization's research agency found limited evidence of non Hodgkin lymphoma in humans. Lab animals are also subject to cancer from exposure. Monsanto claims  the Researchers selectively chose studies to suggest Roundup is carcinogenic to animals and people. Roundup is designed to work with genetically modified crops, such as corn and soy. It's use in agriculture is worldwide.

A study at the University of Queensland, Australia has developed ultrasound methods that reduce or remove amyloid plaque in lab mice with Alzheimer's. There were 5 treatments in 6 weeks, resulting in 56% less plaque than untreated mice. The treated mice also regained memory for visual cues and familiar objects.. Researchers believe that ultrasound opened the blood brain barrier, activating microlgia immune cells in the brain to dissolve plaque.These experiments may lead to human trials, hopefully resulting in similar success without causing damage.

The E.P.A.has found that the 41% of tetracycline fed to livestock alone has resulted in a detrimental environmental accumulation in water supplies and soil. The global consequences are frightening because tetracycline drugs reduce mitochondrial function and cellular energy.Even small doses inhibit mitochondrial , nuclear protein expression and cellular respiration in plants and animals tested. Tetracycline uses gene expression control to reduce infectious processes. Unfortunately, it effects all cells causing developmental delays, reduced respiration and more stress on the cellular level.

Every organism relies on mitochondrial translation to produce energy. For example, there is more mitochondria in the guts than billions of good bacteria. Mitochondria is the catalyst that produces energy for all digestive  and bodily processes. The brain uses the most mitochondria. We do not normally produce more mitochondria to replace cells damaged by decreased oxygen intake and protein expression. The body requires this fuel to work efficiently, or at all. Taking prescription tetracycline can also damage mitochondria in the same way it hurts plants and animals. Amoxicillin, a penicillin derivative drug, did not damage mitochondria of plants and animals. To date, only tetracycline has performed poorly. So, alternatives are available.

There are organizations petitioning Congress to reduce and remove these harmful antibiotics from use with animals, farm and commercial. There appears to be alternative drugs that are not harmful to use when they are really needed. We need to contact our Congress folks and let them know our concerns. California, producing 90% of the U.S. strawberry crop, established stricter rules for chloropicrin. Chloropicrin is a toxic soil fumigant injected into the groun to kill insects. This is done before the strawberries are planted.

Chloropicrin is a dangerous fumigant, irritating the eyes and respiratory tract. California restricts the area and use of the crop to protect workers and nearby residents. The restrictions are more protective than the government.

The buffer zone is now 25 to 100 ft from residents. Application is limited to 40-60 acres daily. The larger numbers reflect tarp usage to limit drift.

Healthy environment activists are petitioning that chlorpicrin be phased out by 2020. They believe rural residents and school aged children, near the strawberry farms, continue to be adversely affected by chloropicrin fumigant.

The Enhancement Feng Shui Mister adds a smile and sparkle for the home.It's an uplifting aroma is excellent to use when I'm working at home or home alone. We use your sprays everyday Just yesterday I was having an uncharacteristic screechathon. One after another my 3  older teens were making errors in judgement and action, and really, I had only myself to blame for not communicating what was best to do. As I ranted, my youngest teen brought me her Mr. Grumps, advising me that it might help..

 I have created many aromatherapy products for Hospice and palliative care patients for over 30 years to relieve pain, anxiety, nausea, depression,  fear and fatigue. The blends are used in hospitals and in the home environment by professional therapists trained in their field. Control of pain is the main goal . Patients may have cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer's, A.L.S. and neurological disease, renal failure, severe stroke or chronic illness. As the patient is able to increase alertness and relax, aromatherapy can be used to trigger pleasant memories, increase family bonds and overall well being. I use essential oils and Petite Fleur Essence combinations to be applied or misted into the air for symptoms and grief for the family members.

Harmony therapeutic essence  is one of the most important blends ,a combination of several antique roses and lavenders I organically grow and distill. The blend is very calming, reducing pain, anxiety and depression. Transitions is a blend of Sweet Annie, tea roses and Melissa (lemon balm) to encourage family bonds, trigger pleasant memories and increase well being. It is designed to release past pain. Forgiveness, increases relaxation as it reduces pain and fears, a blend of German Chamomile essence, rose geranium, violet leaf, Orange flower absolute and Old French roses, all grown in my gardens. The light aromas also reduce coughing,confusion, hallucinations and help regulate blood pressure and pulse. I make a Grief blend for family and patients using vanilla absolute, hyacinths and sweet herbs to reduce shock, and replace loss with the beautiful memories.

 I make several lotions for massage, circulation, pain reduction and lymphedema, using stimulating essential oils and essences, such as double mint, peppermint, spearmint, rosemary, and lemongrass. A lotion made from several lavenders is used for dry skin and relaxation. Custom blends are always welcome to enhance the patient's pleasure and well being.

For bed sores, bruising, rashes, and other skin conditions, I make a comfrey cream ,containing allantoin and yarrow for quick healing. I either add aromas or leave it naturally unscented. Most hospice patients enjoy light scents, finding strong odors offensive. And, too many aromas can be confusing for them.

In hospitals, I am now offering mists  made with natural aromas, such as coffee and foods patients have enjoyed.They are safe to mist on the patient's lips, if requested. Normally, I only use aromatherapy topically, so the tiny molecules can travel directly to the brain. Moods and pain can be changed within seconds.

Aromatherapy blends for children I prepare with food grade essential oils only. Children respond well to these familiar odors. They are nontoxic and used discreetly. Touch and aromas are the only healing children understand. I use soothing names, such as Luv u lots and  Dreamtime.

 Food fraud is a huge problem. Every incident is a potential health hazard, especially affecting allergic and sensitive people. And , all of us are paying for foods from every food group that are adulterated.

Milk now includes whey, water,cane sugar,soybean oil, melamine and formaldehyde. Melamine causes kidney failure and formaldehyde causes cancer. I keep thinking about formaldehyde preserving frogs and brains, etc. in labs.

Virgin and other olive oil may include lower grades of oil, soybean, walnut, hazelnut,sunflower, sesame, cottonseed and corn oils. (See Mother Nature's Herbal to learn how to express virgin olive oil).

Seafood may contain other fish than labeled, especially less expensive fish. Puffer fish, often very toxic, may be substituted for monkfish; Asian catfish for grouper;tillapia for snapper or tuna, and roe for caviar.In one study, every sushi menu sold included mislabeled fish.

Honey may include high fructose and corn sweetener,sugar, corn syrup, and sucrose.

Saffron, costing thousands of dollars a pound ,may include Red 2G, and azo dye and suspected carcinogen; dyed onion;gypsum;pomegranite fiber, red pepper, tumeric, arnica annatto, calendula, marigold. Gypsum? I can dig that out of my yard !

Food fraud soars because the culprits are not being apprehended or adequately punished.The answer is to increase punishment and the risk of being caught. The F.D.A. wants to take supplements off the market and leave us to eat adulterated foods? We need more controls, better auditing of shipments, increased quality controls and full spectrum testing. I realize this requires more F.D.A. inspectors and food scientists. We need to immediately contact our local, state and federal politicians and  demand action now to safe guard our food and health tomorrow.
